Who is eligible to apply for the Graduate Program?
The
Graduate Program is open to students completing their Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degrees in 2025 from Adelaide-based universities. Applicants should have a strong academic record, with a minimum GPA of 6 or above. To be eligible, you must also have the right to work in Australia—this includes Australian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals holding a valid visa that permits full-time work in Australia.
What type of person is insightfactory.ai looking for in its Graduate Program?
We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate high academic achievement, but who also go beyond the classroom to actively engage with the data, AI, or product development ecosystem. This could be through side projects, open-source contributions, involvement in university clubs, hackathons, internships, or any other activities that show a genuine interest in the field.
The ideal candidate will bring hunger, motivation, and passion someone who is driven to build a meaningful career in data and AI, and who’s willing to work hard, learn fast, and grow with us. Above all, we’re looking for people who align with insightfactory.ai’s values: excellence, integrity, curiosity, and impact.
What positions are available in the Graduate Program?
InsightFactory offers two full-time graduate roles based in Adelaide:
- Graduate – Delivery Engineer (Data & AI): Engage in data engineering, data science, and data visualisation projects, working with technologies like Databricks, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
Graduate – Product Engineer: Contribute to the development of InsightFactory’s product suite, gaining experience in software engineering, DevOps, and product strategy, primarily using React and related tools.
When do applications open and close for the Graduate Program?
Applications for the next years intake open in March and close on 31st March. Successful candidates will commence their roles in January of the following year.
What kind of training and mentorship can graduates expect?
Graduates joining insightfactory.ai will be supported from day one through a structured mentorship and development program. Each graduate is paired with a dedicated buddy a peer who helps them navigate life at InsightFactory, understand team dynamics, and settle into the workplace culture. In addition, each graduate is assigned a professional mentor who will guide their development over the course of the year, helping shape their career pathway, support goal-setting, and track progress through a formal professional development program.
Graduates will either join project teams in our professional services division, working alongside experienced data engineers, scientists, and consultants delivering real solutions to clients; or they will join the product engineering team, contributing directly to the InsightFactory platform and adjacent product offerings as part of a high-performing agile squad.
Throughout the program, graduates are immersed in our delivery approach, which is grounded in agile methodologies such as Scrum. They will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Jira, Confluence, Databricks, GitHub, and Azure DevOps, and will be actively supported as they build their technical, consulting, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
