As a Cadet at insightfactory.ai, Get real-world experience working in our Product team where you participate in defining & developing features in Product suite and get first hand experience of how a software products for the Data & AI industry is developed.
Key Experiences
- Software Engineering: As a core part of your Cadetship you will work with our Software engineers on developing new features and functionality in our product team. You will work predominately with React. As part of this you will learn to use Git, you will learn testing cycles and how a robust SDLC in Product development operates.
- DevOps: For part of your Cadetship you will work in our Platforms teams to understand how DevOps is leveraged to deploy, manage and maintain to support our Product.
- Product Strategy: For your Cadetship you will participate in the Product Strategy where you will get first hand experience in how a Product Roadmap is developed, how feature specification are developed and how we move plan, prioritise and approve new releases.
- Team Work: you will work as part of our Product teams where you will learn agile project management, scrum and technologies such as Jira and Confluence.
- Time Management: you will be required to manage your time between University and work. We provide you flexibility in the hours you work, but we expect that you manage your time effectively between you Cadetship and your studies
Qualifications & Experience
- You must be completing a Bachelor's or Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- You must have a GPA of at least 6
- We would like you to have a passion for complex problem solving and technology
- Experience with React and Web App development would be viewed favourably
